This policy explains when Gospeleon issues refunds, how billing works, and how to reach us about a payment issue. It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription refunds
Premium plans are billed in advance at the start of each period. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription; your access continues until the end of the current period and you will not be billed again.
We issue a pro-rated refund within the first 7 days of a new monthly subscription or the first 14 days of a new annual subscription if you haven't streamed more than 10 tracks during that window. Outside that window, subscription fees are non-refundable.
2. Digital purchases (Store)
Because digital tracks, singles, and albums are delivered instantly and can be downloaded, they are not refundable once the order is completed. We make two exceptions:
- Duplicate purchase — if you accidentally bought the same item twice in the same session, we'll refund one.
- Defective file — if a file is corrupt or fails to download, tell us within 30 days and we'll either replace it or refund.
3. Failed payments
If a subscription renewal fails (insufficient funds, expired card, bank decline), we'll retry automatically for up to 72 hours and email you. If we can't collect after the retry window, your plan downgrades to Free and no charge is made.
4. Chargebacks
If you don't recognise a charge, please email us first at support@gospeleon.com. Most issues are resolved the same day. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved.
5. Paystack specifics
All Gospeleon payments are processed by Paystack. Paystack's transaction fees are non-refundable to us once a charge settles, so for approved refunds we return the amount you paid minus any processing fee that Paystack does not reverse. For most refunds that means you get 100% of the charge back.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@gospeleon.com with:
- The email address on your Gospeleon account.
- The transaction ID (from the confirmation email or Payment History page).
- A one-line reason.
We respond within 2 business days and, if approved, process the refund within 5 business days. Refunds return to the original payment method.
