Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 30, 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, device identifiers) Gospeleon uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let us recognise you between pages and visits. "Local storage" and "session storage" serve the same purpose but are managed differently by the browser. We refer to all three collectively as "cookies" on this page.

2. What we use

Strictly necessary

  • Authentication — Supabase session tokens that keep you logged in.
  • Cart — remembers which items you've added before checkout.
  • Preferences — player volume, playback position, newsletter draft auto-save.

These cannot be turned off because the service would not work without them.

Analytics

  • Aggregate page-view and feature-usage counts so we can understand what's working and what isn't. Data is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.

Marketing

  • On marketing pages (e.g. the landing page), we use Meta Pixel to measure the performance of campaigns we may run on Facebook or Instagram.

3. Third-party cookies

Third parties that may set cookies when you use Gospeleon:

  • Supabase — authentication only.
  • Paystack — only on the checkout page, for fraud-prevention and session security.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — marketing pages only; opt out via your Facebook ad-preferences or by blocking the domain in your browser.
  • Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.

4. Your choices

  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies from Settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in.
  • You can disable Meta Pixel tracking using a browser-level tracker blocker or by changing your ad preferences on Meta.
  • You can clear your cart and stored preferences by signing out and clearing your browser's site data for gospeleon.com.
