Untouchable

“The word of God is our refuge,” says Mojisola Florence Adegbite, popularly known as Destiny. “In spite of the recent fears, terror, kidnapping, abduction in the country and the world at large, we are hidden under the shadow of the Almighty.” This song is to make the confession of the word of God, as found in Psalm 91, very easy and handy.
Destiny, who started her music journey in the church choir group, has been inspired by ministers like Rev( Mrs) Oyenike Areogun, Don Moen, Ron Kenolly, CeCe Winnans, and others. She is known for ministering in prophetic songs.

LYRICS

I dwell in the secret place of the Most high,
Abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I’ll say of the Lord, ‘ You’re my refuge and my fortress’,
Surely He shall deliver me from the snare,
And from the noisome pestilence,
He shall cover me with His feathers
And under His wings shall I trust.

Chorus:
Am Untouchable (2x)
Am Untouchable (2x)
Kept and preserved by the power of God,
Kept as the apple of His eyes,
I bear in my body, the marks of the Lord,
Am Untouchable.

I’m not afraid of the terror by night,
Nor for the arrows that thrusts around me.
I have no fear for the plagues that stalks in darkness,
Thousands at my side fall, my life shall be spared,
I’ll see the end of the wicked,
For that He gives me favour and long life,
I’ll testify of the Lord.

Bridge:
Because I’ve made the Lord, my refuge,
Even the most High, my habitation,
No evil befalls me,
No plague comes near my dwelling.
He’s given His angels charge now,
To keep me in all my ways,
They bear me up in their arms so I don’t hit/kick against a stone.

No weapon fashioned against me shall work.
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings.
Underneath are the everlasting arms.
