Yemi Yombo's music ministry started way back in the 1980s when his first effort was released on cassette and vinyl. It was his second album that eventually attracted international music companies in the early '90s and he chose to pitch his tent with Sony Music, under which he released famous Christian music tracks which are still house hold songs and church chants to date. Some of his famous tracks include "Jesus is my friend", "Jesu feran Omode" "Master", "Follow me" , "Oga Jesus", among many others. Pastor Yombo, also a trained cinematologist, has produced many soul moving Christian films and sell-able music videos. Now the General overseer of Vine Act Church, Ibadan, Nigeria, Pastor Yemi Yombo still convincingly combines his acts for the glory of God in Jesus name.
