Helon Peters, popularly called Helon-Pee, is a humble Gospel artist from Numan in Adamawa State, from a family of six. He was born in Kaduna, raised in Numan, and with a passion for Christ after accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 1995 started Gospel music that same year, being already talented to sing. He was mentored by his uncle Rev. Dr, Panam Percy Paul when he came to study at the University of Jos. With a degree in Political Science, Helon-Pee has three albums to his credit: No More Crying (2000), My Love (2006) and Be Strong (2012). His style of music has been contemporary R&B, Reggae and Highlife. He is a passionate psalmist and plays piano and guitar to the glory of God in his local church.
